Our unique Guarda Val is perched just a few minutes’ walk above the popular destination of Lenzerheide. Here, you won’t be working in a traditional hotel, but rather in a village featuring Maiensäss houses dating back up to 300 years.

The Maiensäss Hotel Guarda Val in Sporz, in beautiful Lenzerheide, is certainly no ‘ordinary’ 4-star superior hotel with three ‘ordinary’ kitchens but only two ‘ordinary’ restaurants, ‘ordinary’ staff or even ‘ordinary’ guests. It is an absolutely ‘extraordinary’ and unique experience! Somehow, everything here is different:

It starts with the hotel itself, which is more reminiscent of a small, idyllic village with a brilliant view than a typical soulless hotel complex.

The staff are competent and warm hosts who are happy to go the extra mile for guests without being asked! This is also exemplified by the empathetic management team of Bettina Arpagaus and Philip Arnold, who support, coach, value and give their staff the freedom to make guests happy. It has won multiple awards as one of the best and friendliest 4-star hotels in Switzerland. 

The culinary offering is equally exceptional – from fine dining to traditional dishes at Crap Naros, or culinary experiences such as the FÖ Fire Kitchen! A unique meeting and event area rounds off this ‘unconventional’ offering.
