Large enough for luxury yet small enough for individuality. The Guarda Val conveys an air of natural Alpine romance and accomplishes a balancing act between a contemporary Alpine lifestyle and an authentic Maiensäss feeling. Eleven huts and barns up to 300 years old form the heart of the Maiensäss hotel, located at 1600 metres above sea level in the hamlet of Sporz, above and almost three kilometres from Lenzerheide.
Each of the huts and barns of the Maiensäss hotel has been newly refurbished for the reopening in summer 2009. Contemporary design has been combined with material from the mountains, using a wealth of wood and stone. While the interiors of the historic buildings have been completely renovated, the exteriors have retained their original facades.

The Guarda Val Maiensäss Hotel is ideal for all who seek a tranquil retreat as a balance to globalized daily routine but prefer not to forgo the comforts and convenience of a first-class hotel.
